Is SaneBox Worth It?
SaneBox offers plans that range from $7 to $26 per month. Given that so many people spend a lot of time stuck in email and that it keeps them from finishing the stuff that matters more, I think it’s worth it. If it saves you two hours a month of email processing or saves your mental bandwidth such that you can focus on the other things that matter to you for an additional two hours, then it costs less than a minimum wage hour.
But because SaneBox offers a two-week trial, you don’t have to decide if it’s worth it before you experience it. Most of the people I’ve personally recommended it to soon find that they can’t live without it. Try SaneBox to see how an automated email assistant could work for you

SaneBox Pros & Cons
Pros
- Incredible features that make email work again
- Great customizations
- Easy to use
- Email workflow management
- Email Filtering
- Organization
Cons
- Sends too many emails (without irony)
- The ability to use SaneBox on more than one mailbox without incurring extra costs.
- Email spam filtering is not always perfect, but pretty close.
SaneBox is the most important part of my email workflow. Besides filtering out non-important incoming emails, it allows me to move email tasks to the next day, the next week, or even the next month. I’ve tailored my workday when I’m most productive and SaneBox allows me to postpone non-important tasks until later, easily.
Likelihood to Recommend
If you use your email as your to-do list, then SaneBox will make your life so much easier, [I feel]. The ability to push tasks off until a later time is great, especially if it is critical you don’t forget the task. I particularly like SaneBox when I’m out of the office. I only have to deal with the most important email I’ve received. If you are not in the “inbox zero” camp then SaneBox isn’t a good fit, [in my opinion].
Return on Investment
SaneBox has helped me be more focused by filtering out non-important emails.
SaneBox greatly helps me stay organized and on top of everything that needs to be done, when it needs to be done.
Their BlackHole service is nice to remove certain spam forever.
Alternatives Considered
Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
I use the Snooze and Spam features in Office 365 for another mailbox. I feel SaneBox’s system of folders is easier to manage, plus it is available from anywhere I check my email. Office 365 snooze is not available through my Android email program and in [my opinion] it’s aggravating not being able to organize email from my phone.
